Kuki Militants Attack On CRPF: Once again news of violence is emerging in Manipur. Kuki militants attacked the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) team in Naransena area around 2:15 last night. Two soldiers lost their lives in this incident. These soldiers belonged to the 128th battalion of CRPF deployed in Naransena area of ​​Bishnupur district of the state. Manipur Police gave information about this.

Vishnupur area comes in Manipur and voting took place here in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections i.e. on 19th April. There was violence in the area during this time also. Along with this, voting was also held in some violence affected areas on 26th April. The first Kuki organizations in the state Lok Sabha Elections Boycotted it and also raised the slogan of no justice, no vote.

Violence continues in Manipur for a year

The violence that started last year between the Meitei and Kuki communities in Manipur is showing no signs of ending. So far, more than 200 people have been killed in this violence and thousands have been injured. Along with this, many people have also become homeless. Since the outbreak of violence in the month of May last year, continuous incidents of firing and violence have been coming to the fore.
